National March to Parliament on 25 March 2017

23rd March: We have been in touch with the organisers of the march and can confirm that the march is still going ahead this Saturday.

Next Wednesday Article 50 will be triggered. This makes the campaign against hard Brexit more important than ever.

The Government have promised to deliver "the exact same benefits" after Brexit as we enjoy now. They've set the tests to measure Brexit against themselves: no damage to the economy or any jobs at risk.

But their rhetoric is colliding with reality. Their path towards a hard, destructive Brexit, taking Britain out of the Single Market and the Customs Union, will hurt jobs and livelihoods.

This Saturday, thousands of people from across the country will be marching on Parliament as part of the ‘Make Your Voice Heard’ march. The march is organised by Unite for Europe and is a coming together of different campaign groups who feel that the Government isn’t listening to the views of millions of people about Brexit and the future of our country.

The march starts at 11am outside the Hilton Hotel on Park Lane. For those wishing to do a shorter march, this will start at 11.20am at Trafalgar Square. There will be stewards on site at both starting points to direct people.

Open Britain will have a stall outside the Hilton Hotel on Park Lane - please come and say hello!

Would you be able to help steward the event? If so, please fill in the form here: https://tinyurl.com/hv95edm

If you are coming to the march from outside London, some transport has been organised locally. Information about this can be found on the following page: https://www.uniteforeurope.co.uk/copy-of-travel-hub-local-groups-1.

This march has been organised by Unite for Europe. Open Britain have not made any of the transport arrangements and we are not aware of any other marches taking places in other locations across the UK.
