A new poll has found that just 34% of people are confident Theresa May will get a Brexit deal that is good for Britain, while 63% are not confident.
The polling, by Ipsos MORI, also found that nearly four in ten people think Brexit is going worse than they expected.
Commenting, Peter Kyle MP, leading supporter of the People’s Vote campaign, said:
“The British people are good at spotting when something is going wrong, and Brexit is turning into an omnishambles.
“Confidence in a positive outcome from Brexit is draining away, with just a third of people thinking the Government will be able to secure a good Brexit deal.
“With a bad Brexit deal looking increasingly likely, and with the Government in a mess over their own negotiating position, we need a People’s Vote on the final Brexit deal.”
