McFadden – PM needs to give us more detail about her Brexit plans

Commenting on Theresa May’s statement to the House on the EU Council summit, Pat McFadden MP, leading supporter of Open Britain, said:

“The Prime Minister’s New Year’s resolution must be to give more information to Parliament and the people about what the Government actually wants from Brexit.

“With the deadline for triggering Article 50 fast approaching, it is crucial that the Government presents a proper Brexit plan to Parliament in short order in the New Year.

“That means a White Paper that will answer the big issues like whether we will remain members of the Single Market and Customs Union, and whether we will continue to participate in agencies like the European Medicines Agency, Europol, and the European Aviation Safety Agency, or whether Brexit will mean needless duplication of these functions.”
