Theresa May spoke at the World Economic Forum at Davos earlier today, hardly mentioning Brexit.
Commenting, Ian Murray MP, leading supporter of the Open Britain campaign, said:
"Once again the Prime Minister was offered a platform to set out her big vision of Brexit and once again she flunked it.
"The reality is that Theresa May has never been able to deliver a positive justification for the hard Brexit she is pursuing and is only focused on keeping the right-wing anti-Europeans who dominate her party under some sort of control. That is why she is so easily played by Boris Johnson and the other ideological Brexiters. That is why, 19 months after the referendum, she can still offer no answers and no reassurances to people whose jobs are threatened by Brexit.
"And that is why we are right to keep an open mind about Brexit and its consequences and retain our right to say 'no' to whatever Theresa May brings back from the Brexit negotiations."
