The EU today agreed a strong message of solidarity with the UK over Russia.
Commenting, Wes Streeting MP, leading supporter of the Open Britain campaign, said:
“The EU's strong message of solidarity with the UK over the Salisbury attack underlines just how much more powerful we are when we stand together.
“The same is true when it comes to standing up to President Trump. Theresa May delayed her return to the UK to help coordinate a collective EU response to the US steel tariffs.
“Being a powerful and influential member of the world's largest common market and trading bloc means we are better able to pursue and defend our national interests. If Brexit is going to damage that, we all have the right to ask whether it is really worth it."
