Open Britain urges Prime Minister to act on fair elections

Today, Open Britain wrote to the Prime Minister asking him to act on our growing petition and establish an independent National Commission on Electoral Reform within his first 100 days in office.
In our letter, we shared what thousands of people across the country have been telling us through our petition and Bigger Than Politics campaign. People want politics to work better, and they want the opportunity to have a meaningful say in how we elect our MPs.
A National Commission would give them that opportunity, creating an independent, evidence-led process to examine whether the current Westminster voting system is still fit for purpose and, if not, what should come next.
